Procedures

  • Recommended Telegram account settings to reinforce privacy.

Disable Contact Sharing

  • iPhone
    • Settings > Privacy and Security > Data Settings
      • Disable “Sync Contacts”
      • Click “Delete Synced Contacts”
  • Android
    • Settings > Privacy and Security
      • Disable “Sync Contacts”
      • Click “Delete Synced Contacts”

Increase Privacy

  • Settings > Privacy and Security
    • Scroll up to Privacy section
      • set each item to:
        • “Nobody”
          • If “Nobody” is unavailable, set to “My Contacts”
